LumaArch: Wouldn't you
like to have a brighter smile?
|
|

Look
And Feel Your Best:
Teeth become discolored by age, tobacco use, certain
medications, and staining foods and beverages such as coffee,
tea, and red wine. Fortunately, in most cases our office can
whiten teeth that have become stained. Using the latest
technology, the LumaArch whitening system, we can now perform a
complete whitening procedure in a single office
visit. Whether you're 18 or 82, a bright smile can boost your
confidence and make you feel better about yourself.

One
Short Visit: With the LumaArch system, the
entire whitening process takes less than 30 minutes. There are
no solutions for you to measure or mix and no need to wait days
(or even weeks) for results. Although not everyone can benefit
from tooth whitening (it cannot lighten fillings or crowns, for
example), most people with healthy teeth are potential
candidates. The entire procedure is done right in our office,
under professional supervision, and all teeth are whitened at
the same time. Your new smile can help you look younger,
healthier, and more vibrant. The results may last for years,
depending upon your lifestyle.

Safe
And Easy: Although whitening teeth has become
popular lately, the idea is not new. Over time, many technical
improvements have been made and the process has been thoroughly
studied and safety-tested. Scientific articles have shown that
using hydrogen peroxide to whiten teeth is effective and safe.
It does not change the structure of teeth; it merely makes them
appear whiter and brighter.
The whitening procedure is not painful.
Although some patients experience increased tooth sensitivity,
this usually disappears in a day or so. Even people who are
tearful of dental procedures generally find the procedure easy
to tolerate. No needles or drills are used and you can swallow
normally during the procedure. Protective glasses shade your
eyes from light and there is no heat.

Immediate
Results: Although our office will explain the
whitening procedure in greater detail, the process is simple. A
plastic "retractor" is put in your mouth to hold your cheeks and
tongue out of the way and a rubber coating is applied to your
gums to protect them. Then, a solution containing hydrogen
peroxide (a bleaching substance that does not contain chlorine)
is painted on your teeth. After several minutes, the light shuts
off, fresh solution is applied. This may be repeated once more.
Then the whitening solution is removed completely and you can
begin to enjoy your new smile. Ask our office about having your
teeth whitened with the LumaArch whitening system - The latest,
easiest way to a whiter, brighter smile.
