The main aim during installation of any implant is to achieve immediate close contact with the surrounding bone. 1. Removable Partial Denture:  It attaches to your natural teeth with metal clasps or devices called precision attachments

• Increasing stress on the teeth around the area of the missing tooth.

• Bone recession in the area of the missing tooth.

2. Fixed Bridge: It is a false tooth fused between two porcelain  crowns to fill in the area of the missing tooth. The neighboring teeth area prepared (drilled) to attach in 3-tooth fixed bridge.

Drawbacks:

• Root canal treatment might be necessary on the prepared teeth.

• Increasing stress on the healthy teeth holding the bridge.

3. Dental Implants:

It is an artificial tooth root, made of titanium metal. Dentist places it into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth or bridge. It is a permanent fixture in your mouth that has  excellent long-term success.

It also provides more advanced options for replacing a missing tooth than conventional removable partial denture or a fixed bridge.

Locator Bar Overdenture: A verification index is made from an implant level impression and its fit is verified in the mouth. This index is then sent to the NobelProcera® manufacturing facility for scanning. The scanner data of the index and the individual implant platforms are transferred to a design station where the one-piece framework is finalized. After design, it is milled from either a single piece of titanium or hardened zirconia for a precision fit of less than 20 microns.
